The Scandinavian
Volunteers
who helped save Finland
A very interesting
historical lecture will be presented by Dr. Don Johnson using film and
sound clips, slides and a narrative. This is the little known story of a
small contingent of Swedish, Norwegian and Danish volunteers who assumed
the responsibility for the defense of all of northern Finland, thereby
allowing the transfer of Finnish reserves to the decisive battles on the
Karelian Isthmus.
GUEST
SPEAKER FINLAND'S
AMBASSADOR JUKKA VALTASAARI.
