FinnFunn 2021
October 29 - October 31, 2021
The Inn at East Hill Farm

After a long confinement, a crisp, colorful, fall weekend in the beautiful Monadnock region of New Hampshire awaits.  Come reconnect with long-time and new friends at the 29th FinnFunn Weekend, the regional event planned by New England Finnish groups.

Accordionist Bernie Nowak and the Oivan Ilo Finnish Folk band, Revontulet Finnish Folk dancers, crafting, the raffle and topical Finnish videos are sure to please.  New presenters and performers bring fresh perspectives to Finnish and Finnish-American cultural topics.  For the first time: learn to write your Finnish story followed by an optional writing workshop.

The Tori (marketplace) returns.  Everyone finds a Tori treasure on Saturday.  Hosted by the Troy Recreation Committee and will be held at the Troy Elementary School, the market blends Finnish favorites with local products.

This year, (re-)introduce your adult children or grandchildren to FinnFunn Weekend. They will learn about Finlandia Foundation National's (FFN) Young Leaders Board (YLB) from two of its charter members and can join the YLB's network of forward-looking young Finn-Ams who will shape FFN for those to come. By gifting a Saturday day pass to younger family members, you can assure our shared Finnish heritage is part of their future.

We look forward to greeting you at the Inn at East Hill Farm for a relaxing weekend of fellowship, funn, and discovery.
Kiitos (thank you), 2021 FinnFunn Weekend Planning Committee

The 2020 FinnFunn Planning Committee is happy to say a successful FinnFunn event was conducted on October 31, 2020.  The event was unique in that it was virtual - attended via Zoom online.  All 100 seats were accounted for.  Heather Logee (Camp Director at the Windham-Tolland 4-H Camp at Pomfret, CT) was our FinnFunn Zoom Consultant.  There are links to the various segments of the program so that you may enjoy them once more (or for those who were not able to attend, you can catch up).    And again, Congratulations to Roy Helander for the much deserved recognition!!
